Air Handling Unit Design Considerations

$20.00 Lunch Meeting

$20.00 Lunch Meeting

Presentation:

How are “Standard”, “Semi-Custom”, and “Custom” Air Handling Units different? Do you know the differences? Do you know the impact of each type to the people who own these systems? The definition of these has changed a lot in the marketplace in the last 10 years. Manufacturers have gotten crafty in their marketing departments to use these words to cloud and confuse what you are actually getting with these categories. Looking past the marketing and understanding the details is the key to designing sustainable long lasting air handling units.

The presentation will cover:

-Details of the construction style categories of air handling units

-Good sustainable air handling unit design and layout considerations

-The details of different construction and what they mean to the life cycle and first cost of the air handling unit
