So far, 2020 has been interesting and eventful, to say the least. First the entrance of a new decade, then a worldwide pandemic and here in Minneapolis, and in many cities around the nation, civil unrest with the injustice of George Floyd's death. We as a Board of Govenors for the Minnesota Chapter of ASHRAE lament the unjust loss of life and our hearts are heavy. Evenso, we will continue on with our events and operations, but as we do we will seek to conduct ourselves by the following: Act Justly. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly. And abide by the ASHRAE Code of Ethics - in which we pledge to act with honesty, fairness, courtesy, competence, integrity, and respect for others in our conduct.

While our chapter year is coming to an end, we still have an upcoming Installation of Officers meeting where we transition from our current roles to the next role in the sequence. Eric Johansen will be taking over as President of the Chapter. Simply put, the Chapter is in good hands. I look forward to seeing how Eric continues to move the chapter forward and improve our ability to serve our Chapter members.

Be healthy; be safe; be humble.
